Lakewood Ranch will announce its 5000th home purchaser on Tuesday, January 25 at the first New Resident Welcome, held at the Lakewood Ranch Town Hall, 8175 Lakewood Ranch Boulevard, at 7 p.m. Members of the media are invited for a photo opportunity.
Because it’s impossible to determine the precise 5000th purchaser due to the way contracts are processed, the three closest were selected and invited to attend the event. There will be a drawing for the grand prize winner who will receive a generous gift package for their new home, filled with items and gift certificates from community businesses. The two remaining families will receive substantial runners-up prizes.
Photo opportunities with Rex Jensen, President of Schroeder-Manatee Ranch, Inc. and the winning family will then be available. The New Resident Welcome and orientation program follows immediately after the drawing. Tom Danahy, President of LWR Communities, LLC and other Lakewood Ranch directors will provide introductions and helpful information for new residents.
Due to the enthusiastic response, Tuesday’s event is already filled and a reservation list has already been established for the next event, Tuesday, April 5 at Town Hall. Lakewood Ranch New Resident Welcomes will take place four times per year.
