The Tournament Players Club at Prestancia is perhaps one of the most beautiful private courses ever designed. Set in the heart of Sarasota county, you will find this 18-hole Bermuda Grass course. Built in 1974, and designed by Ron Garl & Mike Souchak.

TPC at Prestancia will change even the best golfers from around the world. This club has two rigorous eighteen hole courses. The Stadium Course was built with spectators in mind, and features mound-lined fairways and bowl-shaped contouring around the greens to provide for better viewing. There are approximately ninety sand bunkers on the course, and several water hazards come into play. There are very few trees on the front nine as compared to the back nine. The Club Course, the shorter of the two courses, was designed in a more traditional style. The fairways are tree lined and many of its greens, like the Stadium Course, are multi-tiered. Both course's have multiple cuts of rough bordering their fairways. This club is the host to the Senior PGA Tour's American Express Invitational. The other tee shown on the Stadium Course is an additional men's tee.

Should you ever be in the Sarasota area, check to see if a tournament that is open to the general public. This beautiful course should not be missed.
